Our products are inspired by local wisdom which has been rooted in every part of Chiangmai’s communities and also the beauty of natural handwoven “Hemp” fabric.
Intending to create sustainable products which are friendly to environment, users and makers, We adopt the timeless design concept and all of our products are locally made by skillful craftsmen and craftswomen in community and design. Moreover, we also work closely with Hmong ladies in the production of the handwoven Hemp Fabric. Our products include clothing, shoes, bags and accessories from 100% natural Hemp.
Natural fibers have become increasingly popular these years and Hemp has been used extensively in many industries. Hemp fiber is naturally one of the most environmentally friendly fibers and can also be called a fiber of hundred uses.
As a fabric, Hemp provides all necessary properties such as softness, finess, breathability, durability, and UV resistance. Hemp will keep you warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Besides, from our visit to Hmong Villages and collaboration with Hmong ladies, Hemp can also represent the ancient ways of life and culture of Hmong families in the Northern provinces of Thailand where Hmong ladies grow, harvest, dry hemp bark, twist them into yarn, then pound and soften the fiber by a foot mill or beating, before being woven with ancient loom and finally dye the fabric with natural indigo. Hmong ladies intricately weave their own costume and decorate them with traditional embroidery art which is widely recognized around the world.
