Hemp Stories is an online apparel store based in Chiangmai, inspired by a love of local woven fabrics and the skillful craftswomen and artisans in our community.​After a year of seeking materials that are high in quality, breathable, and suitable for all ages and seasons, we started to study the unique properties of hemp. We visited farms and learned about hemp fabric production from the Hmong people. Eventually, we formed "HempStories" as a store and a community for people who love natural fibers and handcrafts. We produce hemp clothing on the basis of high quality, fairness, and eco-friendly production.

​Hemp Fibers' Special Properties

Hemp Fibers have specific strength and amazing properties which are known to

keep you cool and dry in summer and warm in winter. Hemp is three times stronger

than cotton, very durable and UV resistant, softens with each washing without

fiber degradation. Therefore, it will not fade or disintegrate from sunlight as quickly as

other natural fibers.
